ONE-BLUE reached the 11th annual European Marine Robotics and Applications (EMRA 2025) last June 4 and 5 in Trondheim (Norway) through our partner, the University of Dubrovnik (UNIDU). Ivana Palunko, head of the Laboratory for Intelligent Autonomous Systems (LARIAT) of the University of Dubrovnik, represented the project.

Palunko delivered a presentation on ONE-BLUE, showcasing her contributions and highlighting the growing significance of robotic and integrative solutions in tackling marine environmental challenges. Her presentation highlighted the critical role of robotic technologies and integrative methodologies in addressing environmental challenges in European and Mediterranean marine ecosystems. The talk also emphasised the importance of collaboration between academia, industry, and public institutions in driving innovation.

This year’s EMRA conference brought together leading experts, researchers, industry stakeholders, and end users from the field of marine robotics and intelligent systems.
