THE PROJECT

An Integrated approach to assess the levels and impact of contaminants of emerging concern on BLUE health and biodiversity modulated by climate change drivers.

Over 100,000 chemicals are registered in the EU, and 30,000–70,000 are used daily, most ending in the ocean. Most of them are contaminants of emerging concern, and there is an urgent need to assess their levels and combined impacts with climate change in the ocean

OUR MISSION

To fill any gaps in the knowledge of the presence, impacts, and  risks of contaminants of  emerging concern on different marine ecosystems and on marine biodiversity in a changing environment modulated by climate change.
