From the 10-14 of June, our partner Dr. Anne Morrissey, from Dublin City University hosted the expedition to collect samples in the Irish Sea.
Maria Garcia Torné, David Alcaide Benavides, Maria Vittoria Barbieri, and xavier borrell diaz, researchers and technicians from Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) and Ulises Lora Romero, researcher from Institut de Ciències del Mar – CSIC travelled to the Irish coast for this sampling campaign.
10 points along the Irish coast have been sampled. Water and sediments were collected at the surface.
Further sampling campaigns of the ONE BLUE project will take place throughout the summer, stay tuned for more news!
