ONE-BLUE Project Releases Technologies 3D video

The ONE-BLUE project has launched a new 3D video presenting two of its echnologies designed to monitor and understand the impacts of contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) on marine ecosystems.

The first technology, developed by INL and CYRIC, is a SERS-COF autonomous in situ sensor system for the detection of antibiotics in marine environments. This innovative device allows real-time monitoring of antibiotic contaminants directly in the water column.

The second, developed by ITEFI-CSIC and Micronit, is an ultrasonic actuator for the enrichment of microplastics and nanoplastics samples, enabling more efficient analysis of these pollutants at very small scales.

In the final part of the video, the online database created by Venthic, the ONEBLUE CECsMarineDB, is also presented. This platform allows users to navigate an online catalogue of sampling campaigns, access data by location, and connect with major European repositories and databases such as EMODnet and the NORMAN network.
